In 2022, Mr. Shanklin was appointed President & Chief Executive Officer of TED Renewables and is a member of its Board of Directors. He joined Tyr Energy in 2017 and was responsible the growth of Tyr’s portfolio of renewable projects. He is a graduate of Kansas State University, with a BS in Electrical Engineering. Mr. Shanklin also earned an MBA, with an emphasis on finance and entrepreneurship, at the University of Missouri – Kansas City.  Mr. Shanklin was the recipient of the prestigious Eisenhower Fellowship in 2010.
Bill Keeney joined Tyr Energy Development in 2022 and is currently Chief Development Officer where he manages grid-scale greenfield project development in the US. Mr. Keeney has worked in renewables since 2003, when he co-founded a windpower development company. Most recently, Mr. Keeney was Vice President and head of East Region greenfield project development for ENGIE Grid Scale Renewables. He was previously Vice President, Wind & Solar Energy at Duke Energy Renewables from 2007-2014. He earned his BA from Pomona College and his MBA from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
Rory Huntly joined Tyr Energy Development (TED) in 2022 and is currently the Vice President of Finance and M&A where he leads the project financing and M&A activities for TED’s development project portfolio.  Prior to joining TED, Rory was the Director of Corporate Development at Ecoplexus where he led project M&A transactions and supported corporate financing efforts. Rory also spent three years as a Vice President with Jacobs Capital, providing sell-side advisory services to lower-middle market operating companies. Rory started his career in renewable energy at Duke Energy, where he worked in various transactional finance roles.  He holds an MBA from Kenan-Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina and has a BA degree in Theater from Davidson College.
Gauthier Dubois joined Tyr Energy Development (TED) in 2022 and is VP – EPC & Project Delivery where he leads the engineering and construction of TED’s portfolio of grid-scale solar and battery storage projects. Gauthier started his career in renewable energy at SoCore Energy, a distributed-generation solar developer/owner/operator. Most recently, Gauthier was Director of Project Delivery for ENGIE Grid-Scale Renewables, focused on their solar portfolio. He graduated from the University of Illinois at Chicago with a BS in Mechanical Engineering and a Masters of Energy Engineering degrees. Gauthier also holds a Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification from the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Raj Pudhota joined Tyr Energy Development (TED) in 2022 and is currently the Vice President of Transmission and Interconnection where he leads TED’s development project portfolio. Prior to joining TED, Raj was the Sr. Director of Transmission and Economic Analysis at Quanta Technology where he led the consulting practice supporting renewable developers and IOUs on generation siting, system planning and economic studies. Raj also worked at LS Power Development where he led transmission development initiatives in MISO, PJM, and NYISO. Raj started his career at Ameren Services where he held positions of increasing responsibility in commercial transactions and transmission planning teams. He holds an MBA from Olin Business School (Washington University) and MS in Electrical Engineering from Missouri University of Science and Technology.

Mr. Duckworth joined TED Renewables in 2022 and is currently the Vice President of Origination where he leads customer engagement and commercial offtake for TED’s renewable energy portfolio. Prior to joining TED, Ben was Director of Renewable Energy and Marketing for AEP Energy Partners, where he led renewable energy origination and power purchase agreement negotiation for the company. Over his fifteen-year career at American Electric Power, he executed over 3,000 MW of power purchase agreements and assisted in the acquisition of over 1,500 GW of renewable assets. He is a graduate of Ohio University, with a BS in Electrical Engineering. Ben also earned an MBA, at Ohio Dominican University and is a Board Member for the ALS Association of Central & Southern Ohio.

Mr. Metcalf joined TED Renewables in 2023 and is currently the Vice President of Development where he leads early-stage project development and strategy. Prior to joining TED, Ben was the Chief Development Officer of a venture funded distributed hydropower company where he was responsible for commercialization of the company’s proprietary turbine technology. Ben started his career as a Navy Supply Officer, serving a combined 15 years between active duty and reserves. While on Active Duty he served in various roles include as the Operations Officer at the Security Cooperation Office at the U.S. Embassy in Honduras and as the Multi-National Liaison Officer in Kuwait as part of Operation Inherent Resolve. Ben began his career in large scale solar after completing his MBA at UCSD in 2016. He has experience leading teams and developing solar projects in 25 different states across PJM, MISO, NYISO, SPP, SERC, and WECC.

Elias Toshiro joined Tyr Energy in 2020 as a member of the Business Development team, mainly engaged in solar development and tax equity investment activities. Before joining Tyr, Elias was with Itochu Corporation’s US IPP team for 8 years, supporting numbers of investment and M&A activities of its subsidiaries.

Dylan Stickney joined Tyr Energy Development (TED) in 2022 as Director of utility-scale solar projects across the TED portfolio. Dylan has worked in renewable development and clean technology since 2016 and earned a BS of Business Administration from the University of New Hampshire.

Brandon Dageford is a driven and dedicated professional, passionate about the energy industry. With over a decade of experience in the energy industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to his role as Director of Land at Ted Renewables.

Brandon has a proven land and business development track record, having completed multiple energy projects throughout the United States. He is known for effectively navigating the complex landscape of land permitting and has a talent for negotiating contracts and acquiring land rights.

When he’s not working, Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog, Frankie boy, fishing, hunting, golfing, and cheering on the Nebraska Cornhusker football team. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business from Peru State College and is an active member in his community.

Jason Benson joined TED Renewables in 2024 and is currently the Director of Finance, primarily focused on commercial and financing activities for TED’s development portfolio. Prior to joining TED, Jason was a member of TortoiseEcofin’s renewable energy investment team managing origination, underwriting and financing. He was also involved in the formation of Ecofin’s internal asset management team that is responsible for managing its ~250 MW operating DG portfolio. Jason initially joined TortoiseEcofin in 2017 as a member of the Strategic Investment Group supporting inorganic growth initiatives and new business formation. Previously, Jason was an investment banker with Greentech Capital Advisors (now Nomura Greentech) where he focused on M&A advisory in the renewable energy, energy storage and energy efficiency sectors. He also held similar positions with Cowen and Company and Murray Devine, focusing on broad industrials sectors. Jason earned a Master of Science degree in finance from Villanova School of Business and a Bachelor of Science degree with a concentration in finance from Seton Hall University. He was a Division I athlete and Captain of the Men’s swimming team at Seton Hall University.

Ian joined Tyr Energy in 2019 as a member of the Business Development team, primarily focused on renewable development and equity investments. He transitioned to TED Renewables in 2022 as a Manager of Project Development for TED’s utility-scale solar development portfolio. He earned a BA degree from Washburn University and has been working in the renewable energy industry since 2014.

Clare Maher joined Tyr Energy Development (TED) in 2022 and is currently the Manager of Geographic Information Systems (GIS). She primarily works to develop geospatial tools and data for prospecting and development, and supports engineering to ensure they have accurate data to create site layouts. She performs spatial analysis using GIS data related to interconnection, the environment, real estate, federal/local permitting, and market analytics to find the best target areas for prospecting. She provides the TED team with all geospatial data available for a site or area to allow them to make well-informed project decisions and increase efficiency by catching “fatal flaws” early in the development process. Before joining TED, Clare worked in a similar GIS role at a utility-scale solar development company. Clare has a BS in Environmental and Ecological Sciences from Elon University, and a Master of Natural Resources from North Carolina State University.
Joe Hollingsworth joined Tyr Energy Development (TED) in 2022 as Manager of Engineering. He designs early-stage renewable energy projects and manages engineering work on behalf of TED. Reporting to Gauthier Dubois as director of EPC, Joe also works closely with the larger project team including permitting, interconnection, real estate, and finance. He provides feedback to these groups on feasibility and constructability of renewable projects. Before joining TED, Joe spent three years in a similar role as a development engineer at a utility scale solar development company. Joe has a BS in Civil Engineering from The University of Alabama, a MS in Environmental Engineering and Energy Systems from North Carolina State University, and is a licensed professional engineer.

Sam Roberts is a Chicago-based electrical engineer and attorney, with degrees from Auburn University (B.E., 2015) and the University of Wisconsin Law School (J.D., 2022). A native of Birmingham, Alabama, Sam previously worked at Southern Company as a Transmission Planning Engineer conducting various studies to evaluate generator interconnection and transmission service requests as well as serving on a number of NERC, NAESB, and SERC committees related to grid reliability and power flow model development. Most recently, Sam was an Associate Attorney at K&L Gates in Chicago in the Intellectual Property Procurement and Portfolio Management group.

Allison graduated from the University of Durham with a MSc in Sustainability, Energy and Development in June 2023. In this graduate program, Allison focused on urban regeneration, land use, and environmental justice all within the context of the energy transition.

Justin Wills joined TED Renewables in 2023 as the company’s first Development Analyst. In this role, he works within the Business Development team to progress the development of TED’s renewable energy project portfolio. He brings a breadth of knowledge from his time project managing for a solar EPC and possesses expertise working with commercial and industrial clients. He holds a BS in Environmental Science as well as an Undergraduate GIS Certificate from the University of Missouri – Kansas City.
Tanaka joined TED Renewables from ITOCHU in April 2024. Hibiki received his bachelor’s degree in commerce from the university of Doshisha (graduated 2021). For the following three years he worked for ITOCHU in corporate planning, mainly focusing on financial oversight of Tyr Energy, TED Renewables and NAES.
Jo joined the TED team as a commercial analyst in June 2024. Koga recently graduated from Case Western Reserve University with a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and business management. Jo also had the opportunity to intern at TED the previous two summers as a commercial analyst and finance / development intern.

Maiah O’Rourke is a recent graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison. While completing a B.A. in journalism and international relations with a certificate in environmental studies, she interned for the Wisconsin Department of Revenue’s Secretary’s Office and developed a passion for working with the state’s agricultural communities. Maiah returned to UW-Madison and graduated with a B.S. in agricultural & applied economics in 2024.  Maiah joined TED in June, 2024.

In her free time, Maiah enjoys playing tennis, visiting museums, and cheering on the Packers.

Lara recently graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with an undergraduate degree in Environmental Studies with a focus on sustainability. Her program allowed her to explore courses in environmental law, policy, energy storage, econometrics, and risk management, among other things. Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, she lived in Miami, FL, until relocating recently to Kansas to join the TED team.
